Dinner Party | Invitation

Prompt: Design an invite for a dinner party for a group of friends.

Solution: I started this design on my iPad using my Apple Pencil to draw the illustrations. I couldn’t find a font that I loved for the party details so I handlettered it. For the title of the invite, I loosely traced over a pre-existing font to maintain the handlettered look. I wanted this to be bright, lively, and inviting (pun intended).

Oprah | Thank You Card

Prompt: Design a funny thank you card for TSN Communications.

Solution: The client wanted this to be funny thank you card that would put a smile on the recipient’s face. In brainstorming, we thought of playing off of Oprah’s famous “You get a car” episode.

Front of Card: “You get a car! You get a car! Everybody gets a car!”

Inside of Card: “Not you, you get a Thank You!”

Greetings from Charleston | Blank Greeting Card

Prompt: Design a folded greeting card using my Charleston stamp (designed as part of an Instagram series).

Solution: This was a simple solution since the imagery was already done. The client saw this illustration on my Instagram and asked for it to be formatted into a greeting card.
