Pioneer

Prompt: We know the airline giants in the business (Delta, Emirates, and Lufthansa…), but what if there was a brand new up-and-coming airline which had the possibility of beating out the airlines of today? What would their logo look like?

Solution: I designed the logo for Pioneer to look modern and upscale while still feeling accessible and affordable. I love traveling, as do many of my friends, so I designed a logo that I would be drawn to when booking flights.

Mary Blair’s Sweet Treats

Prompt: Design a logo for an ice cream company. Whether it is a local ice cream shop or a big-name label, both need a cool logo design.

Solution: Fun fact, I have always dreamed of opening an ice cream shop because I love desserts—my favorite pairing is ice cream and fresh-baked cookies. I wanted Mary Blair’s Sweet Treats to feel nostalgic and joyful with the hand-drawn icons and handwritten font.

Whoosh

Prompt: Design a logo featuring a hot air balloon. This should be a fun and whimsical project.

Solution: Staying true to the prompt, I used my Apple Pencil to draw the logomark for this design. I kept with the playful and fun theme by creating a typeface to match the hand-drawn logomark. I also designed a pattern of the hot air balloon drawing that would be used for branding and marketing.

Axis

Prompt: Design a logo for a rocket ship using one of the following company names-Aerolite, Axis, Comet, Quasar.

Solution: I designed the logo for Axis to look sleek while subtly including the rocket ship within the typeface.

Bamboo

Prompt: Design a logo featuring one of the world’s most beloved animals. The panda bear.

Solution: When I think of pandas, I think of cute and round animals so I wanted to the logo to echo this sentiment. I made sure to design the panda and text with rounded features and edges.
